The Trio
Harry Potter The "Boy Who Lived" is getting his own life started, right where he wanted to be. After graduating Hogwarts, he applied for a career as an auror, the job he has always wanted. And then, he passes all of his tests and gets his dream job, just as he wanted. He's in the midst of the Order's happenings, helping everyone he can and coming up with plans for some of the battles that are fast approaching. But he seems to be missing one thing from his "perfect" life. He seems to miss the joys of having a girlfriend, as he now seems more lonely than ever before, even though his friends are almost always at his side, no matter how busy or different their lives have become.
Ronald Weasley The lanky red-head that has always been Harry Potter's best friend had taken a turn or two in his life as well. Currently an active member of the order and an auror with his best friend, Ron is a bit lacking in the love area as well. He did go out with Hermione Granger, his longtime crush for a time, though it didn't seem to work out. His feelings for her still exists, despite how neutral she seems to be to them. As an active member of the Order of the Phoenix, Ron is becoming more acquainted with the way the war is going, and is becoming more of a help to the group. Despite his faults, he has truly grown to be a handsome young man, some of the lankiness gone from his last years of playing Quidditch. A few girls have made it their hobby to try to go out with the Ronald Weasley that everyone knows about. But which one will he pick, or will he continue to wallow in the faint hope of regaining Hermione back??
Hermione Granger Over the years, the key to the Trio's success, as in cleverness, was Hermione Granger. After graduating, she was going to pursue a small dream to become a healer to help other people. She only got side-tracked when she was asked to become an Unspeakable in the Department of Mysteries. And she took the job, glad for the steady income and higher-ranking position that she had received. The only problem was, something seemed to be missing from her life. After breaking off the relationship with Ron Weasley, one of her best friends, she had gone out with many other guys, including a few that she had previously met at Hogwarts. And the fact becomes evident that she was slightly growing apart from her two best friends, as they aren't always there for her. Instead, she had turned to Hannah Abbott, an unlikely girl to become one of her best friends. And then Hermione finds herself "falling for" the mysterious blonde she works with in the Department of Mysteries, who seems somehow familiar to her. In a short time, Hermione finds herself getting drawn down another path, one she hadn't expected. Which path will she choose and what will become of her future?

The Friends
Ginny Weasley The red-headed Weasley female had always been an over-average student while at Hogwarts. Now it's her turn to go for a bigger job than she had expected. She has decided to become a healer, but is currently still trying to learn all of the twists and turns of the job. She has seemed to have drawn apart from Hermione and Harry, though she has grown slightly closer with her brother Ron. No one truly knows what the redhead is thinking anymore, though some people just don't bother to ask. It seems that she misses hanging out with all of her friends, such as Harry and Hermione, as well as Ron, but she doesn't really have all of the courage to go up and talk to Hermione, especially since the brunette had decided to rent a cottage with a Hufflepuff. Will she be able to accomplish her goals, or will fear stand in her way??
Draco Malfoy Draco Malfoy, the self-proclaimed Slytherin Prince, was last seen that dark night in the tower where he "killed" Albus Dumbledore. After returning with the rest of the Death Eaters to Lord Voldemort, someone slipped the fact through that he hadn't really killed the man, as it had been Snape. He was beaten and considered worthless, though Voldemort slowly put his trust back in the young blonde. During the rest of the time, Draco was privately tutored by Snape in the man's home, learning not just fundamental things taught at Hogwarts, but more about the Dark Arts. He was also taken back by his mother, who continued to take care of him, since his father was still imprisoned in Azkaban. He decided to come back to the real world, obtaining a job at the Ministry of Magic under the alius of Nick Crewe, becoming an Unspeakable. He seems to be obtaining certain feelings about the muggleborn that he is currently working with. But a relatinship, during these trying times, could never work out.... Could it?? Not unless she would join the ranks of Death Eaters fighting to win the war.... Will his forbidden romance end up flourishing, or will it sink to the bottom of the tank??
Hannah Abbott The Hufflepuff had never really interacted much with the Golden Trio over the years, although that fact changed shortly after graduation. By mistake, the blonde ran into Hermione Granger in the city of London, where both were looking for an appartment. The short meeting in the city turned into a cup of tea in a nearby cafe. Shortly after, the two decided, since it seemed that they would become good friends in the short time, to see if they could find a house or bigger appartment that they could room together and split the rent, making it easier on both of them. And the two teens went through with it and found a home on the outskirts of Kent, one of the semi-wizarding cities in the countryside. As the days moved on, the two became good friends, better than they had ever been. It seems that Hannah is always there for the brunette when she needs to be, and vice-versa. It's a plus. But in the middle of a war torn world, Hannah needs to chose a side.... And she's most likely to be chosing whichever side her best friend choses, which could be down a different path than intended.
Pansy Parkinson The girl that was once the Slytherin Princess is now out of school as well and on her own, though her parents are constantly backing her up, giving her whatever her heart desires. That proves a problem, since the one thing she wants they can't get her. It is true that she is still "in love" with the boy Draco Malfoy, even though she too doesn't know anything about his new life or alius. She still clings to the hope that she will get to see him again and his feelings will still be as strong as when they were still younger at Hogwarts. The dark-haired girl has still not taken the Dark Mark, since she doesn't want to have to flee for her life from her comfortable home in the countryside, no matter what her father is telling her. Her theory?? Her mother never took the mark, so why should she if she isn't ready. But will she take the mark before the war is over and might not have the chance?? And if she does, what will she think when she finds Draco has indeed been back and hasn't contacted her??
Oliver Wood Oliver Wood was always a popular one when he was a student at Hogwarts. After graduating, he went on to become a Quidditch Player, becoming famous in a short amount of time. Even besides that point, he has decided to come back to help in the War Effort, between games that is. And so, he saught out Harry Potter and asked to join the Order of the Pheonix, to stop the Death Eaters that were starting to damage places such as the Quidditch Stadiums around the area. He has always wanted to do something about the 'bullies' that are trying to get control of the world, but never had the courage to.... until now. He had, against the wishes of his neutral parents, joined the Order just a short time ago, coming to help whenever his schedule was able. And he just had to make room for the many meetings that were popping up, even if that meant losing a personal practice or two in the stadiums to make a meeting. His parents aren't very happy about him getting involved in the war, as they just wish for him to remain neutral. Will his parents' opinions waver his decisions??
